Controlled Exposure of PII:

  • As a rule, our system permits the researcher access to Personally Identifiable Information only when they are at the court house relevant to the order – we use external GPS tools, combined with our systems control logic to govern this access.

  • In the event of an exception (e.g. a researcher realizes that they made a type-o, or that they closed an order incorrectly, and they are no longer at the court house) we permit access – an event that is tracked and that reflects negatively on the researcher’s performance rating, to discourage such events.

  • This approach controls exposure of PII, while assuring the delivery of correct search findings.
